Iyengar Yoga For Beginners Course


Mondays 7-8:15 pm

  • Explore the nuts and bolts of the poses.

  • Restorative poses to finish every class.

  • For all levels of students.

  • Focus on standing poses.

  • Build strength, flexibility, poise, and calm.

  • Classes are 75 minutes.

  • Course is 12 weeks. $120 for 12 weeks, (makeup classes can be used if student cannot make one of the classes). 

Iyengar Yoga- Gentler Yoga with Props Class

  • For all levels. Light to medium challenge.

  • Support is the theme for this class.

  • Poses with the chair, wall, strap, and floor.

  • Work with tight hips, shoulders, and knees.

  • Must be able to get on and off the ground. Assistance with chair is ok. 

  • You will work safely and intelligently.

  • Class is 75 minutes.

Iyengar Yoga-Ageless Yoga


Saturdays 10:30-11:45 am

  • For all ages, all shapes, all students regardless of flexibility, weight, age, or physical issues.

  • Feet, knees, backs, neck, shoulders, and the pelvic floor will all be addressed. 

  • Gentler than the Gentle class, Yoga Basics addresses movements of the joints, stretches for the legs, arms, hips, and back, and gentle toning of all the muscles of the body.. 

  • Individualized instruction and attention. Teacher and student work as team to find long term results. Classes are 75 minutes.

Iyengar Yoga - Healing Class


4 week series

Watch for Workshops!

  • 4 week class.

  • Healing Low Back Class - Healing Neck and Shoulder Class - Healing Knee Class.

  • Recuperative and restorative poses for repairing injury and inflammation.  

  • Use of manual adjustments and weights to heal and bring blood supply to injured areas.

  • Home practice tips for helping you stay safe and injury free at home.  

  • Classes are 60 minutes.

Open Practice


Postponed for Spring 2018

The school is open for paying students to practice on their own. The fee is $5.00. Free for monthly passes. Please consider using this time to work on your own practice. A teacher is available for questions only. (Check Calendar) 

Iyengar Improvers 


Fridays 9-10:30 am

  • For all levels of students.

  • Moderately challenging. 

  • Class is led with instructions and short demos. 

  • Poses will be supported as appropriate for understanding and health.

  • Classes are 90 minutes.

  • Modifications are given for injury and illness.

  • You will work safely and intelligently.

Iyengar Yoga - Mixed Level Class


Mondays 5:30-6:45 pm

Saturdays 9-10:30 am

  • For all levels of students.

  • An active practice of poses building strength and stamina ending with restorative poses.

  • Class is led with instructions and short demos. 

  • Focus on standing poses, forward extensions, and twists. 

Iyengar Yoga - GENTLER YOGA


Wednesdays 6-7:15 pm

  • No experience necessary.

  • Student must be able to get up and down off the floor.

  • Modifications always available to students that need assistance in the asanas. 

  • Class is 75 minutes.

Iyengar Yoga - Level I/II Class


Tuesdays 6-7:15 pm

Sundays 2:30-4:30

  • Beginner class required or approval by teacher to attend.

  • Experienced beginner to advanced students.

  • Modifications always available to students that need assistance in the asanas. 

  • Sunday class is 120 minutes (students must be able to attempt headstand and shoulder stand in Sunday class).

  • Wednesday class is 75 mins.

Iyengar Yoga - Level II Class*


Wednesdays 8:30-10 am

  • For intermediate students.

  • Take your practice to the next level.

  • Poses and instructions are more complex and fine tuned.

  • Complex back bends and inversions explored.

  • Classes are 90 minutes.

*Students need permission to attend this class. Must be able to hold headstand and shoulder stand.

Sit and Be Fit- Iyengar Chair Yoga

  • An Iyengar Yoga chair yoga class designed to improve flexibility, posture, balance and find calm and focus.

  • Mobilize and strengthen joints and muscles at a slower pace.

  • No previous yoga experience is required and classes are suitable for all levels. All conditions, all students encouraged.

Yoga Basics


Tuesdays/Thursdays 11-12

  • Explore a practice that builds balance and strength on and off your feet.  The course will focus on selected poses from the beginner sequence, taught with props.  Each week we will focus specifically on balance, beginning with fully supported poses.  Learn where to focus your attention and effort to build balance.  

  • Find out how to move inward and outward at the same time, giving you a feeling of balance to take with you.

  • No previous yoga experience is required and classes are suitable for all ages and conditions.



Mondays 3:30-4:15

  • Learn to move well!  

  • A mix of low impact yoga and pilates designed with props and support.

  • Maintain and build your balance, posture, strength, and flexibility with this powerhouse class.

  • Students challenged by weight bearing positions and floor transitions are welcome.

  • Play with the poses and see what you are capable of doing.  

  • Movement with breath and meditation.

  • No previous yoga experience is required and classes are suitable for all ages and conditions.

Tai Chi

  • Learn century's old mind/body practices to stimulate the flow of Chi or elemental life force along the energy channels and meridians throughout the body.  

  • Learn Tai Chi to keep fit, improve physical and mental well being and have fun.

  • No previous experience is required and classes are suitable for all ages and conditions.

Mind/Body Connect Yoga
