Iyengar Yoga For Beginners Course

  • Explore the nuts and bolts of the poses.

  • Create a solid foundation for continued progress.

  • Clear concise instructions, progressive teaching of the poses.

  • Focus on standing poses, forward bends and introducing the beginner inversions.

  • Build strength, flexibility, poise, and calm.

  • Course is 12 weeks. $130 for 12 weeks, (makeup classes avaialble within the 12 weeks).

Iyengar Yoga - Healing ClassES

4 week series

Watch for Workshops!

  • 4 week class.

  • Healing Low Back Class - Healing Neck and Shoulder Class - Healing Knee Class.

  • Recuperative and restorative poses for repairing injury and inflammation.  

  • Use of manual adjustments and weights to heal and bring blood supply to injured areas.

  • Home practice tips for helping you stay safe and injury free at home.  

  • Students must register.

Next Class is November 14 @ 7 -8:15 am

A less formal class for Iyengar Yoga students. The teacher is leading the class with little or no corrections or instructions unless safety is an issue. The teacher will be practicing with you as you do the class. (Check Calendar for POP-UP Led Class) 

Iyengar Improvers

  • For all levels of students.

  • Moderately challenging. 

  • Class is led with instructions and short demos. 

  • Poses will be supported as appropriate for understanding and health, work intelligently and safely.

  • Modifications are given for injury and illness.

Iyengar Yoga - Mixed Level Class

  • For all levels of students.

  • An active practice of poses building strength and stamina ending with restorative poses.

  • Class is led with instructions and short demos. 

  • Focus on standing poses, forward extensions, and twist, inversions and abdominal poses.

Iyengar Yoga - GENTLE beginner yoga

  • With a focus on the fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga, these classes are ideal for newcomers to the practice, students with particular needs of limitations, or students from other methods who want to ensure their practice are safe and sound.

  • Easy paced class.


  • For those who have done the beginner course and/or are starting the yoga practice. 

  • Refine and explore the subtleties of practice.

  • Work on the essential categories of postures and Pranayama introduced.

  • Must be able to get up and down off the floor and have no major limiting conditions. (see Gentler Yoga)

Iyengar Yoga - Level I/II Class and I/II+ Class*

  • For experienced beginners to intermediate students.

  • Take your practice to the next level.

  • Poses and instructions are more complex and fine tuned.

  • Complex back bends and inversions explored.

  • Sunday is 120 minutes.

*Students need permission to attend this class. Student must be able to attempt headstand and hold shoulder stand.

mindful Yoga

  • Play with the poses and see what you are capable of doing.  

  • Movement with breath and meditation.

  • No previous yoga experience is required and classes are suitable for all ages and conditions.

Tai Chi/QiGong

  • Learn century's old mind/body practices to stimulate the flow of Chi or elemental life force along the energy channels and meridians throughout the body.  

  • Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice of slow,flowing,rhythmic movements with a focus on body awareness and healing. A safe and easy to learn mind/body/spirit practice for stimulating the healing of emotions and lowering stress levels.

  • No previous experience is required and classes are suitable for all ages and conditions.

Yoga for flexibility

  • Move all your joints.

  • Find joy and community in this fun, energizing class.

  • No previous experience is required, yoga, breath and movement. 

Vinyasa Yoga

  • Find flexibility.

  • Work on the connection of breath and body and mind.

  • Vigorous, movement based yoga class.

  • All levels, all ages, all students.

Lunch break classes 

  • Fit in a workout at lunch 12:15-12:45!

  • Improve posture.

  • Stretch, work, and play.
